Look Out for the Emu (Bush)

Looking at some photos recently I came across one from a conference about Australian Native Plants I attended in Adelaide about this time 2 years ago. This emu was on display made from the foliage and flowers of eremophilas, commonly known as emu bush.

When at the Geelong Botanic Gardens this week there were some beautiful eremophilas on display. The silvery grey leaf one is my favourite but it often doesn’t like the cool winters where I live. Sometimes buying the ones that are grafted gives you a better chance of having a longer lived specimen.
